Behind the ‘’All Working‘’: How Our Team Supported the Australian Client to Get Solar Street Lights Fully Operational.

Leave a message

In our recent project, 10 sets of 80W StarDee integrated solar street lights were delivered to RMF Fabrication at 5 Gary Road, Maddington, Western Australia. While the project marked a milestone in our global sustainable lighting mission, the true test of our commitment came with the client's feedback.

Step 1: Listening to the Client's Concern

When the client reached out saying, "Only one the guys tell me one doesn't come on?"our team sprang into action. We first checked in on the overall performance ("Are they working well so far?") - a small but critical step to understand the scope of the issue and demonstrate our proactive support.

Step 2: Professional Guidance Beyond Troubleshooting

Solar Panel Angle:

Tailored to Geography Maddington lies at approximately 32° South latitude. To ensure the solar panels capture maximum energy year-round, we recommended a 25° tilt angle facing true north. Here's why: This orientation aligns with the sun's arc in the Southern Hemisphere, optimizing solar irradiance absorption during both summer and winter. Our StarDee street lights feature adjustable solar panel holders - a design detail that lets clients fine-tune installations for their specific location, even after delivery. We didn't just give a number; we explained the science behind it, empowering the client to understand the "why" behind our advice.

Switch Operation:

Clarity in Communication Sometimes, the simplest solutions are overlooked. Using annotated images, we walked the client through the switch mechanism:

  • "The switch should pop out = turn on" (visualized with a close-up photo of the switch).
  • "Pop in = turn off".

This clear, visual guidance eliminated guesswork, making troubleshooting accessible even for non-technical teams.

Step 3: Resolution and Client Validation

After following our instructions, Mr. Foley discovered the non-working light was simply "switch off right?" Once corrected, he shared triumphant updates:

"All working"(accompanied by photos of brightly lit yards).

"Very strong"(a testament to both product performance and our support).
