In 2026, PANAILO supplied 510 sets of 6-meter, 60-watt all-in-one solar street lights for a rural road lighting project in Cambodia.
The project is located in a rural area of Cambodia, where narrow village roads and footpaths run past traditional timber houses and dense tropical vegetation. Many such areas have limited or unreliable grid access, making conventional wired street lighting expensive and difficult to maintain. Solar lighting is the natural choice: every pole charges its own battery from daylight and runs entirely off-grid, with no trenching, no electricity bills and no monthly meter reading.

Integrated Design
Each luminaire combines the solar panel, LED chips, battery and driver into a single streamlined housing, mounted directly on top of the 6-meter galvanized pole. This all-in-one design keeps installation simple - no separate panel brackets, no exposed battery boxes and no cables running down the pole - which is a major advantage on remote village sites where access equipment is limited.
Motion Sensor
The front of the luminaire carries a microwave motion sensor. The light automatically adjusts its output according to nearby movement, keeping brightness high when residents or vehicles pass by and dimming to a power-saving level when the road is empty. This extends battery life and reduces the number of sunny days needed to recharge.
Hot-dip Galvanized Pole
The hot-dip galvanized pole carries a black-and-yellow warning band at the base, improving day-time visibility at road shoulders and village intersections. Galvanized steel is well suited to Cambodia's humid, rainy climate and resists rust far better than a painted mild-steel pole.

During the progress check, our customer confirmed the installation status and the lighting result in plain terms: more than half of the new lots were already in place, and the light performance was satisfactory.
